چکیده
Microgrid as the main building block for future smart grids is prone to instability originated from converter-based distributed generations (DG). Herein, we first analyze small-signal stability of an inverter-interfaced microgrid. Afterwards, a novel adaptive network fuzzy inference system (ANFIS)-based optimization method introduced which aims at online tuning virtual inductances (VI) in islanded microgrids. The data ANFIS training drawn by particle swarm (PSO) algorithm and proposed objective function. A total 140 load scenarios are considered provide optimal VI each condition generate training. This process minimizes reactive power mismatches improves microgrid different levels. simultaneous application PSO facilitates objectives pursued current study. Finally, trained networks installed converter control. performance controllers makes converters responses independent change location value. effectiveness control methodology verified using simulations studies.

Modelling and Simulation of Low-Head Hydro Turbine for Small Signal Stability Analysis in Power System
The hydro turbine dynamics have a considerable influence on the dynamic stability of power system. In the study of dynamic stability, the system is modeled by the linear differential equations (small signal analysis). Small signal stability of power systems is needed in all conditions and only is dependent on the conditions of power system performance before commotion occurrence. This paper pr...

A micro grid (MG) is a local energy system consisting of a number of energy sources (e.g., wind turbine or solar panels among others), energy storage units, and loads that operate connected to the main electrical grid or autonomously. MGs provide flexibility, reduce the main electricity grid dependence, and contribute to changing large centralized production paradigm to local and distributed ge...

In this paper, a method based on some test signal (Test Signal Method) is developed to find the dominant oscillating frequencies and dampings associated with any generator in the system. The method can be realized easily by time domain simulation using electromechanical transient programs. The theoretical background of the test signal method is the theory of mechanical admittance and mode ident...

With recent advances in power-electronics, inverter-based microgrids are gaining great attention. Droop control is one of the main methods to share the real and reactive power among distributed energy resources (DERs) in an islanded microgrids. Due to different characteristics of microgrid feeders, reactive power sharing is not fully accurate and consequently, some DERs may face overload. To ad...
